Gorgeous Fall Eyeshadow – The Clean Beauty Edition

Eyeshadows from clean beauty brands, perfect for fall and holiday makeup looks

Fall is a favorite season for fashion, and with the beautiful changes in outfits and colors, you should be doing the same with your makeup! Yes, there are INSANELY GORGEOUS makeup color options for Fall, especially in eyeshadows! Everything is richer in the fall and leading into the holiday season, and it just feels like the right time to incorporate eyeshadow if it’s not a regular part of your makeup routine.

Do you know the power of eyeshadow? I LOVE what eyeshadow can do! The endless possibilities of color combinations makes my heart sing! Anyone else?! And the great news about the clean beauty segment is that it has so many amazing companies producing fantastic products now. For this list, I choose the items that are both fall-oriented, and provided luxurious quality and performance.. It required a lot of sampling and playing and pumpkin-spice coffee, but I happily powered through, and here are my highlights.

Kosas 10 Second Eye Shadows – I mean, you really can’t ask for faster than 10 seconds, right?! But fast and foolproof? Genius. This unique formula is applied with an applicator that resembles a lip gloss and is applied like a cream, but dries down and stays put. It has the softest shimmer and a hint of glitter, but in the most flattering and wearable way. I’ve never seen a soft, light-reflective, small glitter like this, and is honestly so flattering, even for the over 40 crowd! It is buildable from a sheer wash to more intense color payoff. Globe is my new go-to and is the prettiest brownish gold. And the color 333 also gets the INSANELY beautiful award from me, as it is the softest, prettiest lilac that we never knew we needed on our eyelids. But we do. Lilly Lolo Laid Bare Eye Shadow palette – If you prefer to stay in the neutrals category, fall is your season! This small but mighty eyeshadow palette is perfect for fall. It’s got 8 different shades packed into a slim and lightweight palette, so it is easy to throw in purse and it’s perfect for travel. It’s also just nice to get a good variety in neutrals. This is a mineral-based brand out of the UK, with good-for-you ingredients and really pretty payoff. The best everyday staple. (affiliate link for Lily Lolo) http://shrsl.com/1xcc6

For a unique take on eyeshadow this fall, go green! Adding a hunter, emerald or olive green eyeshadow to your routine is quintessentially fall and holiday. And yes, insanely gorgeous! Pair it with a soft neutral lip, or even a light mauve lip. You could wear it as one wash of color of your lid, or pair it with a lighter neutral all over and put the green in your crease and the outer corner of your lid. You could also line your eyes with it! There are green shades available in several palettes, like the Beautycounter Iconic Palette, which has both a forest green with a touch of gold, and an olive khaki green. They pair beautifully with shimmering ivory Lace, and the gold Bangle shade. (consultant affiliate link: http://beautycounter.com/kristinsvets

If you prefer to try a green shade on it’s own, my favorite right now is the single-shade powder option from Kjaer Weiss in Green Depth, as it has flecks of copper light in it that results in a balanced stunner. If you aren’t familiar with the company Kjaer Weis, all of their products are organic and refillable, so your get to keep the beautiful jewelry-like container and replace the product with a new color when it’s time. While it’s a higher price point on the front end, the refills are more affordable. As an organic line, it’s one of the best options for you, and it’s better for the planet. Sustainable, refillable, insanely gorgeous. Worth it. Other gorgeous single color options from KW include Magnetic, the perfect brownish gold, and Cloud Nine, a beautiful champagne ivory wash of color that works on all skin tones and is so pretty with black liner. Beautycounter Palettes – Beautycounter excels at their powder products, with much credit due to the super talented celebrity makeup artist Christy Coleman who is leading the charge in makeup design and product creation. The palettes are a great mix of mattes, sheens, shimmers, and often a fun pop of glitter. While I already mentioned the Iconic Palette, there are three others that give you so many gorgeous options from day to night looks.

    • The Classic Palette – my most-used Beautycounter palette in a spectrum of the brown family, from tans and soft neutrals to copper, burnished brick, and gold.
    • The Romantic Palette – the most approachable and flattering group of plums, mauves, lilacs, and just prettiness.
    • The Statement Palette – surprisingly easy to use with gorgeous naturals and beautiful impact colors that can be layered for soft looks or bold intensity.
